Who We Are
Betsey Means and Eileen Vorbach are the women behind WomanLore. Both are professional actresses with twenty years of experience. They are dedicated to inspiring you through the language of the past.

Betsey Means is a professional actress who has performed with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare on the Green, Blue Rider Theatre, and Chicago Children's Theatre, among other groups. She is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent, a Chicago agency, 312-587-1155.

Eileen Vorbach, an actor and director, has worked with many Chicago theatres. She won a Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and directed Martin and John at the Bush Theatre in London. A Jeff citation winner, Equity, SAG, and AFTRA member, Eileen has been a master acting instructor at The Actors' Center Chicago for twenty years.
